it’s all in the name
Why [e]merge creative? Many years ago, Sue started freelancing under the working title of “merge design”. The inspiration came from working with the client, listening to them and then reacting by showing them visually what she heard. It was the merging of the minds.
Then when Sue officially opened the doors to her design studio, she wanted to elevate the name – emphasizing that she works in print and online (from pixels to print). She wanted to evolve the name to reflect the ever-changing digital world, so transitioning merge to [e]merge made sense. Her love for creating compelling images is still the foundation, as she continues to value the interaction with the client – she believes great design [e]merges from this relationship.
Creativity is key in what Sue does and how she thinks – so the move from design to creative was fitting – [e]merge creative was born.
